A Social Commerce Newsletter

I’d be lying if I said I’ve been working on this project for months. I literally came up with the idea to make a newsletter three days ago.

I think there’s a major need for a social commerce news hub and, as someone who owns a social commerce agency, I feel that I can provide this space for those seeking relevant information in real time.

Socially Acceptable will share the latest news on TikTok Shop, Twitch, Amazon Live, Meta, and Pinterest, review new social commerce platforms and tools, compare emerging and popular social commerce SaaS, and interview livestreamers and social commerce experts.

I selected the name Socially Acceptable, aside from the obvious reason, because I’m on the spectrum and I’ve always lived my life by following a series of rules and staying up-to-date on what is okay to say or do and what isn’t. My life is often governed by lists and rules, which helps keep things organized in my head so that I can function in a ā€œsocially acceptableā€ way.

So who am I? I’m Nicole Rechtszaid, a Gen Z social commerce entrepreneur and former career livestreamer. I’ve helped brands and influencers navigate the social commerce space since 2015 and have firsthand experience building a personal audience of over 500k across social platforms.

My latest project is Ghost Agency, a social commerce company that helps brands and influencers navigate TikTok Shop, Amazon Live, Twitch, Meta, and on-website. Ghost Agency is one of the first TikTok Shop Partners in the US and an Amazon Ads and Twitch partner.

In my spare time, I love reading, playing with my three-year-old pup, watching Star Trek, hiking, and exploring all that the great city of Los Angeles has to offer.
